I have been an educator for more than twenty years. During that time my philosophy has evolved through a variety of teaching experiences. However, I've always remained dedicated to approaching all students, as unique individuals, each with their own set of interests, perspectives, strengths and weaknesses. I know that the importance of teacher-student connection is by taking a sincere interest in who that particular student is. Personal connection and success are correlated. Without a real connection, success is much less attainable. In the New Hebrew Program all teachers share this vision and believe that compassion and genuineness, along with the reinforcement of fundamentals and positive study habits, are the best avenues to take when trying to reach a student.
